To follow up on my last post, the MacIntyre article I was referring to is
"Epistemological crises, dramatic narrative, and the philosophy of science",
which was published in The Monist, 1977, v. 60, p. 453-471. It was also
reprinted in the book "Paradigms and Revolutions", 1980, edited by Gary
Gutting, p. 54-74.
