The fact that "first century Christians," who were much closer to
the OT culture than we are, believed would suggest that, maybe, they saw no
contradictions or were able to reconcile the differences. True, they did
not have the scientific tools that we have but, as I pointed out in my
earlier post, it doesn't take a lot of science to realize that axe heads
normally don't float.
