First, the word "likely." I think it's a poor word in this argument.
Either the explanation is true, or it is not. No "chance" about it.

Try this:

" then the most simple explanation for this state of affairs is that
naturalism is true and theism is false"

I might agree with that one.

But, of course, "most simple" has little to do with an explanation
selection, does it?
