Let me point out that you cannot acheive your goal by denying the
observational data. If your position requires that everyone ignore the
evidence in favor of evolution, speciation, the age of the universe etc.,
you drive people by the busload into the arms of atheistic evolution. We
christians MAKE their position appealing by telling them that what they see
in the way of scientific, observational data isn't to be believed! People,
being what we are, will believe what they see, not what we say. My children
were more influenced by what they saw in my life than by what I preached to
them. This applied both to the good and the bad in my life. Why do we expect
people to be different. They are going to believe what they see.
