ST LOUIS -- Eric Lindros scored twice during a four-goal firstperiod and Garth Snow stopped 27 shots as the Philadelphia Flyerssnapped a four-game winless streak with a 5-1 victory over theSt. Louis Blues, who had their five-game unbeaten streak ended.Dainius Zubrus had a goal and two assists, John LeClair added agoal and an assist, and Paul Coffey and Janne Niinimaa each setup two scores for Philadelphia, which had been 0-2-2 in its lastfour games.

With 19 points, the Flyers tied Boston and Ottawa for most in theEastern Conference.

"We did a lot of good things tonight as a team, we had a plan andstuck with it," Flyers coach Wayne Cashman said. "Everybody didwhat we asked them. The guys supported each other, we made thepuck work for us."

Blair Atcheynum tallied for the Blues, who were 4-0-1 in theirprevious five games. St. Louis suffered just its second home lossof the season following an 8-0-1 stretch at the Kiel Center.

"It's 0-0 and we have a three-on-one on the penalty kill and theygo down and score," Blues winger Brett Hull said. "It's funnywhich way momentum goes. You don't know how it's going to changeif we score there. I think we came back and played a lot betterthe last two periods. A big difference was that we didn't getphysical early, and when you don't bump those big guys, they keeptheir momentum going."

With Blues defenseman Steve Duchesne serving a holding penalty,Rod Brind'Amour got the Flyers rolling with his sixth goal of theseason, jamming a shot past Grant Fuhr from the right doorstep.

Zubrus' third goal with 8:10 left in the first period made it2-0. Lindros scored his eighth of the season with 4:32 remaining.He struck again for a 4-0 lead with 16 seconds left in theperiod.

Lindros suffered bruised ribs and did not play the third period,but the injury is not believed to be serious. Flyers center JoelOtto was diagnosed with a hyperextended elbow and also did notplay the final period.

Atcheynum got the Blues on the board midway through the secondperiod with his second goal. LeClair scored his league-leading13th goal 24 seconds into the final period to restore the Flyers'four-goal cushion. LeClair has goals in four straight games.
