As list manager of another list, I have had fairly good success
in gaining help from the ISP. Of course, the junk mail has always
been from small-time operators, not larger companies. In general,
the ISP sends me a form letter stating that they have suspended
the offending account *or* that they have determined that they were
not the source. But Steve is right: the big companies which do
this don't care.
BTW, at one time there used to be on the 'NET a place to
document continued spammers; does that still exist?
