I guess I don't care much about an answer to that question. The reverse
is more interesting (to me). "How many ID naysayers would change their
position if such a signal were received?"

My point is simple -- I do not see where the ID efforts necessarily have
ANYTHING to do with the supernatural (or God). They can (and should,
IMHO, take place with the MN principle firmly in mind. To the extent
they do not, I am not terribly concerned -- the theologians among us will
certainly provide sufficient counterpoints.
