It's a good review. And it does seem to be the case that many in the ID movement rely on a hodgepodge of disconnected (contradictory?) arguments to make the case for design. However, the point about reticence and naming the designer is bogus (of course, many in the ID movement can't seem to make up their minds as to whether they are investigating or whether they are engaged in apologetics/culture war battles, so they often end up enabling this bogus complaint).
