Ignoring both YECism and Dawkin's rehashings of old, refutted
arguments as "junk theology" is also an option.
Their was a time I worked hard at refutting the YEC position, for in
so doing I thought I might have some effect. I was ineffective. As
have most people like me (George and other more prominent ASAers may
have had some effect). But the YEC's have won their place as at least
a very significant minority (mabe a majority) of American Christians,
and they are not going to go away.
