Good question. And my breakdown misses an important point SCM outlined in
his book. Basically, SCM turns conventional thinking on its head.
Convention would have it that the origin of life was likely, but the origin
of humans was unlikely. SCM argues that the origin of life is unlikely, but
once it happened, the origin of humans was likely.
