Indeed, some of those "yahoos" even have the sympathy of ASA list members.
But those tend to be yahoos themselves, what with their guns and pickup
trucks and pseudonyms. ;)

More on topic: I think the 'non-influence' should be noted in this case. All
the numerous gripes by various NAs didn't add up to so much as a speed bump
in this confirmation process. For the first time I'm starting to wonder if
all the talk and attention active Christians (and I've certainly done my
share here) devote to the NAs is worthwhile.
