This information comes via the newsletter of the History of Science Society. If you have connections with creationist groups, or if some of your friends are likely to see this film, you may want to make sure that this information is made available to them.

I know Peter Bowler, and I can understand why he's not happy with how his interview was edited. Judging from what is said here, the film might actually create an historical myth, all on its own: it might create the myth that Darwin made up his theory just to impress people -- a childhood interest in storytelling run amok.

In any case, a little advance knowledge might be useful to all of our members. I hope this link is publicly accessible. If not, I might see if can be made available.
