[asa] Front-loading with ribosomes

I used the logic of front-loading to predict that ribosomal proteins would have functions apart from the ribosome:

The essay was picked up by someone at Telic Thoughts, where it generated some discussion and a mini-controversy. Oddly enough, the two primary complaints contradict each other.

According to one scientist, the problem is that I made no prediction ("it is not an actual prediction.")

According to another scientist, the problem is that my prediction is also made by conventional evolutionary theory ("FLE and NFLE both predict the same observations").

So which is it?
