I'd add that many people on the "Religious Right" are followers
(dittoheads) of Rush Limbaugh, who has promulgated a series of really
silly (but persuasive to the naive) arguments against human caused
climate change. The fact that several members of the last
administration found it useful to appear of Rush's show reinforces
this.

BTW -- "dittoheads" is Rush's term for his folowers, not mine.
