Maybe. Yes the National has a lot of global warming denialists, one of
whom is usually not worth reading no matter what topic he is writing
on. However the same article is in the Ottawa Citizen which is most
certainly not a denialist paper, in fact quite the opposite except for
one columnist who also denies evolution...

If you find the reference in real climate then I'd like to see it and
how these articles are falsehoods.
