[asa] Yes -- the YECs are still winning

I get some folks riled up here when I infrequently observe that the
YECs "are winning."

Here is the latest battle in which they have prevailed. Getting even a
mention in US News would have been a minor victory. Getting to write
an article for them a major one.

"While state legislatures haggle over the words science, theory, and
weaknesses, American schoolchildren continue to rank poorly in science
education among the nations of the world. Pouring more money into the
status quo of evolution-based science education isn't the answer.
Teaching the truth is."
