In all this, the real issue is does Scripture actually indicate that those who do not accept Jesus as Lord and Savior will go to hell, viz. true and absolute knowledge of actual, eternal separation from God? Is this statement on the same level as the truth content as to say, if you jump from a tall building, you will hit the cement pavement and die? Is so, are we not we committed to sound the dire warning to both the sinner and the jumper?

I can't quantify the number, but I recall reading of a devout young man
who was mentally handicapped who went around with the Four Spiritual
Laws. He did this with one chap, ending with the question, "Do you want
to accept Jesus now?" At a negative response, the young man said, "Well,
go to hell then." This so preyed on the chap's mind that he sought out a
pastor in order to convert. Also, Edward's most famous and, I think,
effective sermon was "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God."
