Yes, and I like the perceptive approach to reality; science seems to be an
art of model making. The ultimate reality of something seems beyond our
grasp.

Regarding the differences within this "continuum", my favorite example of
the difference between faith (trust) and knowledge is one given by an
evangelist of long ago. He said, essentially, that when a child obeys his
father by not putting his hand in the campfire, he is acting on faith that
the fire will hurt him. If, however, he then puts his hand in the fire, no
faith is required. he now knows!
