I don't know that there are exactly major scientific squabbles,
especially as most young earth advocates seem to think that any young
earth argument is a good argument and it doesn't matter whether they
contradict each other. Also, the grassroots nature of creation
science and its culture of hostility to scientific authority makes it
very difficult for corrections to be made effectively throughout an
organization. Yet another problem in establishing positions is that
the last time I checked, updating was not a strong point of the ICR
website. However, there are various scientific arguments that have
been promoted by one and rejected by the other more or less
simultaneously. For example, the AiG website was listing moon dust as
an argument not to use while it was still advocated on the ICR site.
However, AiG-associated speakers had not stopped using it, and I don't
know what effect the AiG-CMI divorce has had on AiG's selection of
arguments-the CMI branch was much more prone to admitting flaws in
arguments than the AiG branch.
