Re: [asa] Review of RATE dates

As Pim says, this is an excellent rebuttal. (It's one you might consider
linking to PT, Pim, given the level of interest in this topic.) Kirk
Bertsche, the author, gave a very good paper on the same topic at the ASA
meeting this weekend. He works at one of the Stanford labs.

The meeting overall was very successful. It was good to meet Bernie and
David for the first time, and also to see Kirk and many others again. If
you have never attended an ASA meeting, please consider doing so either next
year (at Baylor Univ in Waco, TX) or the following year (at Catholic Univ in
DC). The quality of our meetings in this millennium has been consistently
very high. We are the key organization for American Christians in the
sciences, and you are all cordially invited to come check us out.
