There are also two long creationist videos at http://www.nwcreation.net/videos/creationastronomy.html?the first low quality video loads on that page, but you can click on a couple of links for the high quality versions.? A lot of the material is very similar to Mike Riddle's presentation, in fact many of the slides he shows are identical, so it looks as if they came from AiG or ICR.? According to his bio, Chris Ashcraft, who presents the videos,?does not have any qualifications in astrophysics or related subjects.

Although the formation of raindrops?and snowflakes involve completely different processes, time scales and distance scales compared to stars, like stars various physical processes can be used to understand their formation.? Why don't YECs invoke miracles for the formation of raindrops and snowflakes, but they do for the formation of stars?? Do they want to reduce the whole subject and study on star formation to a God-did-it cop-out?? A YEC book on astrophysics would have many very short chapters, such as one on star formation.

What would be good is if home schooled Christian children?could be provided with a book on astronomy that gives glory to God and states that He is the creator, then says that God gave man brains so that he could understand His creation, and what physical processes that God used and still uses.? YECs just drag Christianity into the ghetto of ignorance.

These are just my two cents (in fact Euro Cents as I'm at the moment in France working on a web interface for the Centre de la Recherche d'Astrophysique de Lyon - Ecole Normale Superieure de Lyon).
