Re: [asa] Global Warming Stats

 I offer some backgound information. The New Zealand Centre For
Political Research was founded by Muriel Newman, who was formerly an ACT
Member of Parliament (the ACT Party ii the furthest to the right of
those parties represented in the NZ Parliament). Incidentally, she has a
BSc in Mathematics from the University of Auckland, my former department
-- possibly she was a student of mine.
