It might be slightly easier for Dick if he would first accept that (1)
the ascription "A prayer of Moses, the man of God" does not mean that
Psalm 90 was written by Moses;(2) The Psalms are poetry and the "For a
thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, or as
a watch in the night" (Ps 90:4) in context is intended to be a poetical
expression; (3) (Genesis 1:1- 2:4a) is a passage quite different from
Genesis 2:4b - 4:24; (4) OT professors are familiar with what their
colleagues of similar standing have written in the scholarly literature.
