Re: [asa] Expelled finale

On reflection, I don't object to the link itself, I object to the
graphic. The graphic is "in your face," and because of the way the
graphic is employed it appears at first that the ASA is officially
endorsing the linked site. In fact, I thought the entire collection
of links was titled "Expelled Exposed" until I realized the graphic
itself was a link; once I clicked on the link, at first I thought I
was at some sort of ASA-affiliated site; it took me a minute or so to
realize it was an NCSE site. This makes it appear that the ASA is
endorsing the culture war approach taken by both the film's sponsors
and the NCSE. I'd have no objection to an ordinary text link to the
NCSE critique. However, I think Jeff Schloss' review is outstanding
precisely because it avoids the temptation to get dragged into the
culture war; it sits above the fray and tries to offer a reasonable
Christian response.
