My colleagues on this listserv really disappoint me. I posted this last Friday and got only one response, and that's not really a response. Am I to assume that everyone here agrees with the intellectual lynching that is taking place in our academic institutions? Do you really feel it's OK to treat people the way these folks have been treated? Do you run ID and YEC members out of your churches? I would hope we could separate the differing opinions we have from the abysmal treatment given to these "dissenters". Why is it that people seem to sudde am well nly trust the US Congress? Why does the University of Iowa not look good in their review of Gonzalez? After all, the Congress of the United States found that Sternberg's rights had been grievously violated. The University of Iowa is not looking too good at the way they treated Gonzalez. And Baylor is really taking a beating right now with their tenure decisions. It shouldn't matter whether you are for or against ID as such - it should matter very much if you are for or against persecution of scientists. The people who are getting dumped on are not ignorant hicks; they have Ph.Ds from good universities and have made worthwhile contributions to science. Yes, let's do so. This film is an embarrassment to the Christian community. I am actually going to see expelled later today, as it happens. dennis On 4/11/08 9:32 AM, "Terry M.
