[asa] Europe's Scientific Search for God

Here's the lead article in The Economist, which describes the "Explaining
Religion" project:

This project is designed to probe the evolutionary bases for religious
belief.

What do folks thing of the validity of such projects? What is an
appropriate response from a Christian perspective?

One thing that strikes me is that the title "Explaining Religion" displays
more than a little hubris.
