The notion I grew up with was that of a definitive onset of evil in the
Garden of Eden.
It was a long time before I noticed that the language seemed to be
"...knowledge of good and evil".
That would seem to suggest that the duality of good and evil was
something discovered, not "invented".
I don't seem to hear that perspective. Any comments?
