Folks,

I just got off the phone talking with Don Hulin of ACSI. The name is used for all their texts so
there are purposeful design history texts. I think the name is there because they are mainly trying provide texts from a Christian perspective. They do not push a YEC perspective although they tend to avoid the issues of age in the curriculum leaving that a bit open.

I believe the group is solidly evangelical and trying to provide good texts written from a Christian perspective. Don emphasized that the texts are science texts and do have their content checked by 4 University professors.

Of course as a reformed Christian I happen to think all courses should be taught from a Christian perspective and that science is really not neutral but that is another story.
