[asa] books on the cosmology of the bible?

Can anyone recommend any good books that describe the ancient cosmology of
the bible (i.e., the cosmologies of the biblical writers from Moses through
John)? Ideally it would be a commentary that is consistent with
extrabiblical literature of the relevant cultures and times, provides many
specific references to Scripture, but does not attempt to make too many
conclusions or applications with regard to Christian doctrines, etc. In
other words, I'm looking for something that is primarily descriptive and
generally uncontroversial. For example, I want to know that where there are
important numerological or other structural motifs that were consistent with
the cosmological worldviews of the time, but I'm not interested in being
told what that means about their inspirational or divine intent.

Thanks.
