Yeah. Having studied Process Theology and Open Theism and Liberation
Theism and Black Theism as well as smatterings of Tillich, Dean, Spong
and others, I still draw most heavily on CS Lewis with helpings from
the buffet of the others.
Two things I hold rather strongly:
All of the scholars above have insights which can be useful.
None of the philosophical positions seem to be of any lasting
importance. One's relationship to God and Christ takes precedence over
all. To the extent I am wrong outside that relationship, and I am sure
I am at least on some points, I rely on God's grace, not my own
understanding.
