I thought this article was encouraging in some ways, but I also thought it
seems to equate TE with process theology and suggests that only a process
understanding of TE can answer theodicy questions.

Perhap this would be one thing to address in any sort of Evangelical / ASA
statement on evolution: that accepting / considering the scientific
evidences concerning evolution does not necessarily or even properly imply
accepting process theology's god.
