Re: [asa] Teaching ID and teaching that Gobal Warming is not real

That's a safe bet with Inhofe who seems to be quite ignorant about the
topic of global warming. Out of 20,000 or so global climate
scientists, 400 disagree, a whopping 2%.
Seems that Inhofe and the GLobal warming deniers are losing the battle
and for good reason, they are arguing against solid science.

And how many of these 400 are actual climatologists?

See http://rabett.blogspot.com/2008/01/join-400-club-eli-has-started-linking.html

--Eli has started linking to relevant (and irrelevant) posts on the
members of the 400 club, such as our horticulturalists, TV weather
heads, wanna be Ph.D.s, and more. Andy Dessler has started a series
and hooked two large ones, Andy has good taste.--

and

So let's ask ourselves, what is the expertise and credibility of these
400 people?

I am not impressed

--Ask anyone from the UK if Alan Titchmarsh qualifies as a prominent
scientist and you'll be met with the smile of one indulging a naive
child. He's a popular guy, best known for hosting the weekly
'Gardener's World' TV program and writing popular novels and memoirs
('Trowel and Error' geddit?). The proposition that he acts as a
counter to the IPCC and the scientific concensus, with his Diploma in
Horticulture and honorary degrees, reveals the depth of the
desparation over there in the contrarian corner."--

Wow, sounds about as credible a source as our friend Janice :-)

And the list goes on

This seems more about poor politics than about good science.
