FW: [asa] Has a Christian Evolutionist written this yet?

Pim,

Logic is not the point here. I'm not sure that multiverses are the logical
conclusion of cosmology - they are one explanation among others and the jury
is still out. But logical possibilities do not constitute proof or reality.

I'm sure you are unimpressed with Anselm's argument for God's existence as
the logical consequence of the greatest conceiveable being argument.

I actually do not think we will ever find logical or scientific proof of
the first cause of origins. This is largely based on Hebrews 11 which
says it is by faith that we know God created the heavens and the earth
(paraphrase) -- I think God left Himself hidden, even if He brought
about origins through natural processes. We see this hinted at in
quantum mechanics. I just think God left it a mystery in order to
legitimize faith as well as enable rejection of His existence. That is
a theological argument which I freely admit. But there is no logical
necessity that we will ever find proof of the first cause whether it be
natural or supernatural.

Other than the simple fact that multiverses are actually a logical
consequence of the cosmology involved and the lack of any 'unknown
guidance' or the lack of any reason why such guidance would exist.

I'd say that your comments are highly lacking in logic. So far the lack
of any contribution of ID in these matters may help explain why it has
remained scientifically vacuous.

So perhaps rather than claiming that you have hashed out these things,
you may want to start by even making a simple attempt?
