Yes, with a caveat (like that mentioned in another post) that I have
generally been in strongly academically-influenced areas, with
corresponding church populations. The idea of evolution generally
raises quite a fuss, though rarely on valid grounds-often, it's just
on the authority of creation science or ID claims.
There are certainly areas where the exact harmonization between
Scripture and the evidence of evolutionary biology, paleontology, etc.
is challenging, but I don't believe evolution requires modification of
any important theological points.
YEC and ID claims often make acceptance of a particular view on the
means and/or timing of creation vital for salvation. Obviously,
evolution does not fit well with such a theology, but neither does
Galatians. (It is rarely clear whether the person truly believes that
claim or whether it is sheer theological carelessness).
