At heart, it comes down to theological and philosophical predisposition, which I'm not sure is going to be solved by science, even if we could do away with the warfare model. Or should I say, the warfare model isn't likely to go away because of the philosophical divide?

Could someone please interpret for me what the ‘anthro’ root means in the duo term ‘anthropic principle’? Is it a Latin or Greek word? It seems the duo term is used now mainly by physicists and cosmologists, where ‘anthro’ doesn’t exactly belong.
