Hi all,
Was doing some reading on the Book of Chronicles,
which noted that it traced the genealogies all the way
back to Genesis. Upon looking up the specific verses,
I noted that Chronicles only traces the line of Adam's
son Seth. Going back to Genesis, I noted that in Gen.
2:4, it refers to the following passages (which
include Cain & Abel) as the "generations of the
heavens and earth when they were created" whereas in
Gen. 5:1 it refers specifically to "the generations of
Adam" (which only describe the lineage of Seth). I'm
wondering what everyone's thoughts are on the
theological/historical significance this might have,
particularly with respect to Phil's theory (see:

Thanks,
