You are correct, there is nothing much credible to this.
Bizarre... But people do tend to be gullible when it comes to global
warming, evolution and even DDT. Check out the level of ignorance
amongst IDists for instance who in their 'skepticism' of science seem
to embrace much of this nonsense.
And yes, I am very willing to support why I consider this to be nonsense
