Three books (of various lengths) which offer a variety of Christian
perspectives:

"Science, Chance and Providence" by Donald MacKay.
"Science and Providence" by John Polkinghorne
"Chaos and Complexity" by Robert John Russell, Nancey Murphy, Arthur
   Peacocke

(And a Google scholar search on some combination of the words: Christian,
chance, providence, divine action, hidden, chaos; will turn up some other
authors and essays.)
