I assume that here 'decision scientist' is a synonym for 'game theorist'
-- a mathematician who applies probability theory to the outcomes of
decision choices -- a branch of Operations Research. The connection
with a business school is obvious. The connection to "altruism" of the
"You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours" variety is also obvious. I
would have to read the particular article in order to decide whether the
claims made in it go beyond the scientific and so are scientistic-- that
is *not* obvious to me from the title.
