The authoritative book on Einstein and religion is Max Jammer, Einstein and Religion (Princeton, 1999).

  I think this data is inaccurate.

  I'm still to read The God Delusion (my copy arrives today) but I believe Dawkins talks about Einstein's "religion" in the first chapter. Einstein was essentially a pantheist, and therefore could not be said to believe in God (at least in a way that would irritate Dawkins :-)
