I don't know about that but I do know that Randy asked me if I could
provide some material from our church's Sunday School class that is
currently covering the issues below. He's thinking that maybe we
could use the ASA web site as a potential repository for such
information. I think this is a great idea. Our church is large enough
that we can bring in proponents of the three major positions and
present it themselves. Smaller churches usually just bring in the AiG
materials. We did the same but because that was not the only thing
presented it allows people to decide for themselves. I found the
materials illuminating because I hadn't seen them for over a decade
and I wasn't aware that they now concede natural selection. (They may
have done this in the past with their micro/macro distinction but I
didn't notice this before.) Given that part of ID concedes common
descent and an Old Earth, maybe they're both right. :-) This is the
power of having materials on all the views simultaneously. It also
allows people to see that people who hold different positions are not
monsters.
