Welcome from across the pond, as I am one of the Brit intruders!
Mere Christianity converted me years ago, just before I got my geology degree.
It is often called Finding Darwin's Dog and he was a dog-lover too!
I will think of you when we pass near Greensville in October - I shall walk up Mt Mitchell as well.
Greetings
Michael

Alright here's my earlier post in reply to Louise:
No, I haven't read that one yet, but I would like to; I'll put it on my reading list for this summer. I also want to read Perspectives on an Evolving Creation this summer. Right now I'm reading The City of God, Mere Christianity, and Fritjof Capra's The Web of Life, all with a bit of discernment! I recently finished The Language of God and Finding Darwin's God , although there was plenty in each I disagreed with. I still found them very helpful and thought-provoking.
Thanks for the book recommendations, everyone!

If you haven't read it already, I strongly recommend Falk's Coming to Peace with Science for any
conservative Christian who wants to go into scientific research.
