For the record, I did not read the comments on uncommon descent [while I do keep in touch with some IDer's I don't have the time to read this blog] but judging from what I have heard on this list and in a private post from someone whose judgement I trust, I would say Denyse did not act right in the way she blogged. I don't think she did either ID or ASA good by her remarks. From what I saw secondhand [always dangerous] it was an action the helps drive a wedge between people on ASA and good thinkers in the ID camp [yes there are some Michael] and does not help at all in establishing communication between the groups. Unfortunately we rarely apologize when we are wrong, but I think it would be good if Denyse would apologize to the offended person or even the ASA list. But neither are we called to respond in kind and I did not see the comments in your post, Michael, as British humor and I suspect ID folks reading it would not either. > > We need diversity and a wide range of views but not this type of thing , > which does untold damage to the gospel Amen but perhaps the same caution to us. > > Michael To unsubscribe, send a message to majordomo@calvin.edu with "unsubscribe asa" (no quotes) as the body of the message.Received on Tue Apr 17 11:54:12 2007
