For the record, I did not read the comments on uncommon descent [while
I do keep in touch with some IDer's I don't have the time to read this
blog]  but judging from what I have heard on this list and in a private
post from someone whose judgement I trust, I would say Denyse did not
act right in the way she blogged.  I don't think she did either ID or
ASA good by her remarks.  From what I saw secondhand [always dangerous]
it was an action the helps drive a wedge between people on ASA and good
thinkers in the ID camp [yes there are some Michael] and does not help
at all in establishing communication between the groups.  Unfortunately 
we rarely apologize when we are wrong, but I think it would be good if
Denyse would apologize to the offended person or even the ASA list.  But
neither are we called to respond in kind and I did not see the comments
in your post, Michael, as British humor and I suspect ID folks reading
it would not either.
