A friend commented off line on a recant post of mine as follows: "...
I especially like the idea that God can choose not to know the
outcome of an action. I suggested this to our pastor who is a pretty
strict Calvinist and his response was, "No, He couldn't not know and
be God." I didn't quite have the guts to say, "What does that do to
God's omnipotence?"
And that reminded me of a story told me by friend wife:
Luther, Wesley and Calvin all arrived at heaven at the same time.
Luther entered first. After 5 minutes he came out and said "I've got
to go back and get it right!"
Wesley was next. After 5 minutes he came out and said "I've got to go
back and get it right!"
Calvin then went in. After 5 minutes Jesus came out ... .
