Pray tell, what is a "Darwinian conservative?" How do Darwinian evolution and Conservative political philosophy have anything to do with each other? That term appears in the following invitation:

In recent years, discussion of the compatibility of Darwinian evolution and Conservative political philosophy has grown. Please join Discovery Institute Senior Fellows John G. West and George Gilder as they discuss this issue with Darwinian conservatives John Derbyshire of National Review and Larry Arnhart of Northern Illinois University.

 

The event will take place at the American Enterprise Institute, May 3, 2007 from 9:00am to 11:30am.
