Again, the attacks on Gore have no relevance to the fact of global warming
Even if the accusations were true, and that is hardly self evident, it's far
less worse than those who deny the scientific facts of global warming.

But of course, we should focus attention away from these undeniable truths
at all cost?

"On balance, he did quite well ­ a credible and entertaining job on a
difficult subject," Dr. Oppenheimer said. "For that, he deserves a lot of
credit. If you rake him over the coals, you're going to find people who
disagree. But in terms of the big picture, he got it right."
