Dave-

Absolutely agree with about 'prosperity' gospel! That sort of gospel causes
lots of trouble on a large scale, and I have a few friends who have suffered
tremendously at the hands of Christians when they have encountered sickness
and ailment. One friend at Bible college came down with a rare disease that
left her almost completely deaf. My mentor, a professor at the college,
struggled with a strange ailment that left him virtually incapacitated at
times for 10 years, and no doctors were able to cure or even diagnose. He
was an incredibly humble and compassionate man, but passed away last
November. Both of these people were harassed for their 'lack of faith' and
basically forsaken at times because they couldn't get well.

But I wasn't talking about heresy with my sister. :) Just basic doctrinal
differences that separate Christian churches.
