That is an interesting subject that Janet points to, why would Holden choose such an obvious religious reference as tithing?

But the quote she references says about environmentalism that: "Increasingly it seems facts aren't necessary," and at the end it references Michael Crichton's webpage, and if anyone makes the facts seem "unnecessary" it is him.

So, nice try Janice, but in the end your argument, such as it is, is just emotional fluff, devoid of content. And similarly, we really should not make anything of a standing ovation for the tithing comment.
