David,
I have found the AIG website to be fairly cryptic about the personal in
their organization. A number of names on that list of affiliates I'm
sure are no more than those that have at some time in the last 5 years
made presentations at conferences that were sponsored by AIG. Overall,
I'm left with the impression that it is a very small number of people
that are running the show at AIG most or all of which have backgrounds
in ministries rather than science.

I have noticed that they are doing a fairly significant purge of old
material from the web site in the last month or two. However, they
still have many pages that refer to authors as if they are affiliated
with AIG. For example Emil Silvestru's books are being with a blurb
about his work with AIG but Silverstru is now aligned with CMI. The CMI
loss really looks to be a brain drain (that might be an oxymoron when
referring to creation science) for AIG which is why I see CMI as
possibly having a viable future. AIG has become almost solely focused on
apologetics and it has all of its bets on the museum for maintaining its
position at YEC leader.

Has anyone noticed that AIG is coming out with a new version of _The
Answers Book_ The authorship of the new version has changed
dramatically with people like Safarti gone. Added are their new recruits
Purdom and Lisle. It will be interesting to see if they completely
retain the text of the former authors and just add some new material or
if it is a complete rewrite (based on CMI's claim that AIG got all the
rights to all their writing I expect it will just be an update with the
removal of CMI authors names).

Is there any indication of how well the AIG listing of people is kept
up to date? Kurt Wise was listed as affiliated with the ICR long
after his criticisms of popular YEC arguments got him in trouble with
them. A more practical problem related to this is whether arguments
admitted to be bad are actually removed from the websites.
