Dave mentioned: "I always found "How to Lie with Statistics" a real
gem both of things to
avoid so as to honestly present the data and for things to watch out
for
when viewing others presentations. It appears that it is still
available from your favorite on line book pusher."

I am fairly sure the author was Huff and that the book was published
back in the dark ages (circa 1949 when I was a physics undergrad
student). It was great book then and is a great book now.
